This morning I went on my first downtown Take a Hike walking tour and after the experience I had today, I will be sure to attend the remaining two.
Last night, at 5pm, the Downtown Cleveland Alliance and the K&D Group hosted the grand prize drawing for the Live Free at 668 Euclid Sweepstakes. Diane Flood from Lakewood (one of 32 contestants to participate in the grand prize drawing) selected the live key FOB that opened the grand prize door. She won the grand prize, a two bedroom 1400 sq foot apartment at the new Residences at 668 Euclid, rent-free for an entire year! Diane and her husband will be the first residences of Downtown’s newest residential address.
3/50 project-the idea of the campaign is to think of 3 locally run businesses that you enjoy visiting and try to spend $50 a month spread out among those places. For every $100 spent in locally owned business, $66 stays in the community while only $43 stays in the community when you shop or spend money on chains.
It’s one of the best views of downtown Cleveland and makes you feel like you are truly part of something great. Downtown Cleveland is a wonderful place to visit for a weekend or traipse to for a night on the town.
On Thursday, July 23rd, at 5pm, the Downtown Cleveland Alliance and the K&D Group will host a grand prize drawing event on W.9th Street. The drawing will determine the winner of the Live Free at 668 Euclid Sweepstakes which ended on July 16th. One lucky individual will walk away Thursday night with a rent free 2 bedroom apartment at the new Residences at 668 Euclid for a year (pictures of the apartment that K&D is giving away are below)!
