August: Osage County this week at Palace Theatre

august_thumb2

I strongly urge you to enjoy the historic splendor of the Palace Theatre and see August: Osage County. The story is of a family living in Osage County Oklahoma after the disappearance of the family patriarch and the ensuing family secrets that are revealed immediately thereafter. One hint: Imagine your worst family Thanksgiving get together…and then add Roseanne Conner’s mother to the mix. While very funny at times, this play is not for the faint of heart as nary a topic is missed in this Pulitzer and Tony award winning play starringĀ  Estelle Parsons of above mentioned Rosanne fame. There is some strong language at times, but it makes the extended length of the play worthwhile. The play runs from April 13th through April 25th. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

I had a chance to see the play on the 24th. It was fantastic! My only regret was not seeing it earlier in its run, as I would’ve like to have had the chance to see it twice. There are always so many great things going on in Cleveland.
