Content Marketing World returns to Cleveland

 Early bird registration opens Dec. 10 and speakers are requested for Content Marketing World, the nation’s largest content marketing conference. The event will be held Sept. 9 – 12, 2013 and is expected to draw 1,500 attendees to the new Cleveland Convention Center.

Operated by the Content Marketing Institute (CMI), this unique conference aims to educate and empower marketing and public relations professionals who develop the strategy or handle the execution of content marketing initiatives for their companies and organizations.

“When we had the initial event in Cleveland in 2011, more than half the attendees had never been to Cleveland,” says Joe Pulizzi, Founder of CMI. “In 2013, we are excited to have global marketing professionals from over 25 countries in Cleveland, which now offers something truly special as an event destination.”

The event will include opening day workshops, hands-on industry-specific sessions, two full conference days, vertical industry sessions and keynotes from industry leaders including: Jonathan Mildenhall, VP, Global Advertising Strategy and Content Excellence at The Coca-Cola Company; and Jay Baer, globally-recognized speaker and author of The Now Revolution.

In addition, CMI is seeking speakers who can cover subjects such as social media, content integration, multi-channel content and content discovery. This Call for Speakers is open now through Dec. 10 via web submission only, with no late entries being accepted. All entrants will be notified by Jan. 21, 2013.

Originally holding its inaugural conference in Cleveland in 2011, the event quickly outgrew its venue and moved to Columbus, Ohio for its second year in 2012. But, with the addition of the Cleveland Convention Center, CMI is returning the conference to Cleveland for its third and largest event.
