Great Lakes Science Center Closing for two weeks

That Great Lakes Science Center will be closed September 19 – October 4, 2009. The Science Center will use this time to do maintenance on the exhibits and get the building ready for the fall and winter seasons.

Farmer’s Market at CSU

Fresh, local – and plentiful – produce is available every Thursday at CSU’s Earth To U Farmers Market in front of the College of Law building, 1801 Euclid Avenue.

The market (a partnership between Cleveland State University and North Union Farmers Market) will feature vendors with local, Ohio-grown produce, food products and more, and will be open for business 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. every Thursday from September 3 through October 22, rain or shine.

Constantino’s Wags and Wine Event Tommorrow

The Mutt Hutt and Constantino’s Market will be offering a great way to relax on the patio with you dog, a glass of wine and other dog owners. The Wags and Wine event will take place tomorrow night and will feature various wines from Constantino’s extensive selection along with a sampling of appetizers. There is a nominal charge for the tastings.

Downtown’s newest residential address will soon have its Euclid Avenue facade complete.

Sparx City Hop is this Saturday!

Fleishman Architects Moving to the Osborn Bldg

Downtown Cleveland business Richard Fleischman + Partners Architects, Inc. (designers of the 515 Euclid garage, the Ohio Aerospace Institute and the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport’s canopies) has signed a lease for the attractive first floor and lower level spaces of the Osborn Building located at 1020 Huron Road just west of Star Plaza. The move will be a short one, just across Huron Rd.

Clean Up Cleveland!

On Sunday, September 20th, a group of volunteers will be cleaning up various places around downtown Cleveland! Such places include part of the river, Scranton Road and places around Edgewater Park. Currently, I’m in the process of gathering product donations to make this clean up possible! Stay tuned for more details.
